Q: Are the Park and Lodging Accommodations open year-round?
A: Bryce Canyon National Park is open year-round. The Lodge has limited lodging options available during the winter season

Q: What should I expect the weather to be like?
A: Summer days at Bryce Canyon National Park are enjoyable with temperatures lying between 73°- 80°F. The nights get cold dipping into the low 40°'s to mid 30°'s. Afternoon thundershowers are a common occurrence halfway through the summer season. During the spring and fall the weather varies. Winters are cold dropping into sub-zero temperatures. The yearly snowfall is around 100 inches. Since the sun is present year-round in high altitude, wearing long sleeves, hats, and sunscreen is recommended. We also recommend layered clothing to protect against the plateau's temperature changes and common powerful winds. We advise you to check weather reports for current forecasts as the weather can fluctuate.

Q: Is there cell phone service?
A: There is limited to no cell phone coverage within the park.

Q: Is there an entrance fee to enter the National Park
A: The National Park Service currently charges $35 per private vehicle at the entrance gate. When entering by foot, bicycle, motorcycle, or commercial vehicle, the fee will vary. Please visit the National Park Service web site for the most current fee information.

Q: Where is the nearest location to get fuel?
A: Approximately three miles outside of the National Park.

Q: How far in advance can I make lodging reservations?
A: We typically accept reservations 13 months in advance. Once we finalize the following year's availability, we will make the entire following season available for reservations.

Q: Can I cook in my room?
A: Cooking is not allowed in any of the guest rooms or cabins at The Lodge at Bryce Canyon.

Q: Can I keep my pet in my room?
A: Other than service dogs, pets are not allowed in any of our guest rooms or the main lodge. Dogs on a leash may accompany owners to the General Store porch. (Contact the front desk for a list of nearby kennels.)
